I tried pole dancing with my friends last Saturday and it was hilarious. Well, for us anyway . Oh man, was it hard...Watching other people do it seemed like it was pretty easy. But no, you had to literally be able to lift yourself in the pole, swing around it and hang on to the pole, try to climb the pole using one leg as an anchor and especially using a lot of skin.
My friends and I were laughing so hard because we had a hard time doing it. Among the five of us only, one managed to enjoy the whole thing. At least it was a good workout for us.
After 2 days, our body is still aching . Our thighs, legs and triceps are in pain....We were all saying that this king of workout is not for us. We also had some bruising in our knees...
So we will try again a new workout either capoeira or cardio strip tease.
After our horrendous try at pole dancing, we had dinner at cafe ysabel. We all went home at 10 pm because we were all tired.

I'm Bored....
Oh the past 2 days have been pretty boring for me. Not in the mood to fix the house, no driver, hubby is lazy to go out so I've been stuck in the house bumming around.
Look what I found, smiley central. Its so easy to use and its compatible with blogspot.
Hmm, makes me want to use all of the smilies
I'm really enjoying this

Going back to the Office
Admittedly, I felt kinda weird while on my way and while entering the office. I somehow missed it but at the same time I didn't miss it all. Sounds weird.....
Anyway, I was really happy to see them. Especially when I got the chance to talk to my former subordinates. They updated me on all the projects that we were working on. I also got the chance to get a sample of the newly launched product that we were working on while I was there. I was really glad to hear that all our hard worked paid off because they were able to hit their budgets last fiscal year.
They all said I lost weight, ha-ha-ha. This made me all the more happier because I felt that I really didn't loose weight. But, I'd take their word for it
It was a fun experience but after thinking about it, I am happy being a housewife. Just hearing the stories on what's going on and all other "unpleasant" stories, I all the more felt happy that I am out of the rat race.

Our 4th Wedding Anniversary
Had breakfast at the main restaurant then we decided to drive around. There's really nothing much to do here but to enjoy the weather and the fresh air.
I wanted to go back to Ilog ni Maria so we decided to go there first since it was the farthest. We wanted to go to this furniture shop as well along Silang but the it was close already.
From Ilog ni Maria, we dropped Bag of Beans. They really have yummy coffee so we bought about 6 bags :) Hubby loves drinking coffee that's we we buy a lot whenever we're in Tagaytay.
Then we decided to drop by Cliffhouse Tagaytay. They have about 6 restaurants/cafe's here. We decided to grab some coffee at Cafe Breton and just enjoy the view and the weather.
Went back to T house to rest and watch a bit of TV. We had reservations at Antonio's and it was about 30 minutes away from where we were staying. Unfortunately, we left the camera at the hotel. We were not able to take pictures. It would have been a great place to take pictures because the ambiance was really great.
Oh, the food...What can I say???It was superb....I had the salad w/ foie gras, soup and the steak. It was superb....I am at a lost for words because the food was really great, the service and the ambiance. Anyone who visits Tagaytay should really try Antonio's. Although its on the pricey side but its all worth it....
Got back at the hotel and T House staff had a bit of a surprise for us.
They were so sweet but I was in the bathroom when they arrived so it was just hubby who received the cake in our behalf. Most of the staff were there and they wanted to greet us. We were so full after our sumptuous meal at Antonio's so we didn't eat the cake yet.
But, oh man it was heavenly. Just the right moistness, texture and chocolatiness. If I was not too full I would have devoured the entire cake. Whew, just describing how it tasted makes me crave some more.
That's how we spent our 4th wedding anniversary

Our Stay at The T House in Tagaytay
The rooms were great, nice interior and big bathrooms. They even showered our room and bath tub with rose petals because they knew that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary.
During our first night, we decided to eat at their restaurant and have a massage after dinner. Their selection in the restaurant was limited but the food was surprisingly good. I loved their soups and salad. Although the main course I think could still be improved. But we really didn't mind because by the time we reached the main course, we were so full already. The price is really cheap at P500+++ for a 4 course meal.
After the sumptuous meal, we had our massage. It was great !!! My husband who is seldom satisfied with a masseuse was so surprised because he got a really good one. One who was able to feel and relieved him of this backaches which seldom happens whenever he gets a massage.
With all that we really had a restful night :)

Ilog Ni Maria Honeybee Farm
Since we finished lunch at around 12 pm and check-in time was at 2 pm, we decided to drop by the farm.
My eyes really popped out the minute I saw what they were selling. They had soaps, shampoo, facial care, hand wash, bees wax, bath salts, etc. Each item or scent had specific claims or purpose. So I really took time in reading and trying to decide what would suit me.
In the end I bought the following: bee propolis, bee pollen, all the flavors/scents of their soaps, honey cider vinegar, face oil, face moisturizer, hair oil, shampoo, insect repellent, honeymilk lotion, sting less, toothpaste, feminine wash, lip balm and pine buckets.
This is the first batch of my shopping spree, we decided to go back again the following day because I wanted to buy the bee propolis for my mom and in-laws. I didn't take a picture of the pine buckets anymore.
Once I start using them I'll be sharing as well the benefits or claims of each of the item I bought. I will also share whether it works or not.
From Ilog ni Maria, we went to T-House, this is where we stayed for 3 days.

Lunch at Massimo Tagaytay
Its a very cosy place and we had the place to ourselves since it was a weekday and pretty early at that.
Here's their menu.
We ordered the following: hot artichoke dip, corn chowder, wagyu sirloin, US Angus Tenderloin, and dalandan juice.
Overall I wouldn't say it was a great meal. It was just so-so for use because we have tasted better steaks in other restaurants. If you were to ask me I'd say it was not really that great.
From Massimo, we decided to go to a bee farm that sells organic stuff.

Off to Tagaytay Tomorrow
Today, I just went our for a while and bought some drinks and chips that hubby and I will be bringing for our trip to Tagaytay.
Would you believe it took me about 3 hours to pack for a 3 day stay? The thing is I also had to pack additional clothes because from Tagaytay we'll be attending a friends birthday party. Plus I had to prepare all our medicines..Whew, it was tiring.
Anyway, had to send my new maid to the doctor because she was not feeling well. My other maid accompanied her so I had to take care of the dogs in between packing our stuff. Hmmm, times like this wherein I have to take care of everything really makes me realize that I can never live without at least one maid.
I just feel thankful that we can afford to have these luxuries.
So, Ill probably be back on Sunday :)

Yahoo, Finally Got Out of The House!!
Yes, my driver was still absent yesterday but hubby was around. We decided to go out and watch a movie at Promenade Greenhills.
We watched "No Reservations" and I really liked the movie. I cried several times while watching it because I really pity the child when she lost her mother. It was touch seeing her go through adjustments in living with her aunt who she doesn't really know that much. The adjustments on both the aunt and the niece was really tough. Although its a romance movie, the romance part I felt was just on the side. It was still cute nevertheless but I think it was more of the story of the aunt and the niece. Anyway, I still liked the movie.
After a tub of popcorn, a pack of M&M's peanut and water we still decided to have an early dinner at Cibo. This is actually one of our favorite restaurants. We ordered our usual white grape juice, a pizza and beef tenderloin. It was yummmy....
Bought a couple of In Style back issues and the most important purchase was my anniversary gift for hubby. We are celebrating our 4th year anniversary on Friday. I'm also excited because we'll be spending 3 days in Tagaytay.
Anyway back to my gift, it's a coffee syphon. Its another kind of coffee maker, if you've been to UCC then you'll notice its something similar to that. He was the one who requested this and I really don't know what will happen to our regular coffee maker.
Oh, well....

House Arrest for the Past 3 Days
I've been staying at home since Friday and nowhere to go :(
My driver has been sick for 2 days, he comes to work until Saturday thus the reason I couldn't go out. Hubby has been busy for the past 3 days because he's attending the exhibit organized by his group who are into fishes.
Poor me....Well I can always drive since I have a valid license but I have not driven for the past 4 years. I wonder if I'm still as good driver as I was before. The thing is I have nowhere to go anyway.
So what have I been doing, surfing the net and trying to see on how I can improve my blog design :) Thus my new design template...

A Day on My Own
After lunch, I sat down in front of the computer and surfed the net. I also visited my favorite web sites and emailed some of my friends. I also chatted with some in my yahoo messenger especially those who live outside the country.
Then at around 3 pm, I went to the gym. I'm so proud of myself because I went there in two consecutive days. Today, all my muscles are aching. My arms, thighs, legs, back and stomach are painful. Well, I don't have choice because I need to loose weight.
Went home at around 6 pm and then around 7, left again because I called up a friend and invited her to have dinner. I thought it was going to be traffic going to Podium because its a holiday today and I expected people to be out. In other words, I arrived an hour earlier than our supposed meeting time at 8 pm.
No other thing to do but SHOP!!! Nyahaha, I always try to find an excuse to shop.... What did I buy?
My make-up stash from Body Shop: paddle brush, cheek tint, liquid eyeliner, mascara, lipstick and lip balm.
Three blouses from Bayo....
And a Dress from Warehouse....
Notice that I'm getting to be fixated with black clothes. I don't know sometimes I just get fixated with colors and I suddenly notice that most of my new clothes are in the same color.
After my shopping, I met up with my friend and had dinner at Lasa! in Podium. They really serve good food at reasonable prices. In case you are craving for Filipino food, you should drop by there because they really serve good kare-kare. They use real peanut sauce.
From Lasa we went to Cafe Breton for some coffee and dessert. I just had coffee and our never ending sharing of the latest happenings in our life. By 11:30 hubby called and told me he's home already so I decided to go home as well.
I didn't really end up on my own yesterday :)

How do I Store My Bag Collection?
Every time I go out especially to the mall, I will most likely be bringing home a bag. I actually lost count on how many bags I have. I think if I'm not mistaken, I have more than 60 bags (not counting those that I'm ready to sell or give away).
I don't go for any particular brand. As long as I like the style and I like the size, then I'd buy it. I especially love big bags because small bags doesn't really work for me. I always bring a lot of stuff in my bag and if I try using a small bag I will most likely forget something that I need.
The only time I use small bags is when I attend a formal gathering or go shopping in bazaars. What I'd do is bring a bigger bag and leave it in the car.
So because of my large bag and clothes collection, I can't store my bags in my closet in the masters bedroom. The best place to store them is in one of the cabinets in our guest rooms. Here's how it looks like.....
Yes it still looks messy but again I'm the only one who can clean or fix my bags. Hmmm, I still have some bags in my room I think about 7 that I frequently use. Then, I took out about 20 bags already for re-selling or to just give away to some of my friends or relatives...
I found this bag hanger at a Japanese store and its very cheap at P88.00 only. But the only problem is one hanger can just accommodate 5 bags especially if you have big bags like me :)
The bigger bags are at the bottom since they don't fit in the bag hanger. My problem now is I'm again running out of space.
Hmmm, what should I do next?

Chika Time With Friends @ Shangri La
Had another get together with my friends last night.
Oh by the way before sharing what happened last night, may I just day that I attended a very lousy wedding at Tagaytay. The church wedding was late by almost an hour thus the reception started at 1 pm. Then imagine that they finished serving our lunch at 3 pm!!!! We had to travel for like and hour and half for lousy food and late lunch. Aaargghhhh......
Moving on, I had another get together with my friends yesterday. They were craving for a dimsum feast at Gloria Maris Shangri La Mall. Our meeting time was at 6:30 but one of my friends called and told me she'll be there earlier. So I told her I'll meet her there at 5 pm.
Upon arrival at the mall, knowing me, I passed by a few stores and bought a few stuff. My first stop was Body Shop. I found an old lip stick at home and I super loved it so I decided to buy one. Unfortunately, since it was on old stock they no longer carry the same thing. So the sales lady just helped me approximate the shade and I think it is more or less the same. I bought the caramel shade (28) from Body Shop.
From Body Shop, I then decided to drop by Beauty Bar to buy an eye lash curler. I am not really into curling my lash since its actually very short but I decided that I want to give it try again.
My friend and I met-up at this point and we decided to go around the mall some more. This time I bought a large bottle of Citromint. Oh this is one of the best finds for me. It serves as an aromatheraphy oil that repels mosquitoes and cockroaches, can be used as flea repellant for my dogs and also use this to wipe my walls, tiles, floor etc. to repel all these bugs. I guarantee that it truly works.
After several clothes shops, we weren't able to buy anything because nothing really caught our eye. In one of our rounds, I bought a large choco chip cookie (I'm actually munching this while writing this blog) and then lastly I bought a celebrity magazine because I was really curious with the story of Pops Fernandez.
Finally, we met-up with our other friends and had dimsum galore at Glora Maris. We had hakaw (3 orders), chicken feet (4 orders), shao long pao, bean curd, siomai, and fried dumpling. We also ordered 2 way peking duck. YUMMY!!!!! Of course our meal ended by having coffee and dessert at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf along Emerald Avenue Ortigas.
We had a good laugh and ended our "chika" at around 11:30 pm since they all had work the following day :)

Shopaholic Pinay Strikes Again...
Ha-ha, Yes, I went shopping again!!!!!
After lunch I went to the parlor which was again inside a mall (Robinsons Galleria) to have a hair cut and hair treatment. I was scheduled to meet my friend at 4:30 PM so that was just right on time after my parlor thingy.
So, I had my hair cut and treatment starting at 2 PM. The thing is I finished early at 4PM. Since I know that my friend is not yet ready, I decided to check out some of the stores. Being a shopaholic, I ended up buying another clutch bag, blouse and earrings. This in a span of 30 minutes by just visiting 2 stores. Imagine if I visited more stores...Ha-ha, I think if I were to join a shopping contest I'd win assuming the mechanics were to buy as much items as you can in the shortest period of time.
At 4:30 met-up with my friend and decided to go to the Negros Fair at Rockwell. Its a bazaar showcasing some of the best items/food from Negros Occidental (Visayas Region). It was a bit of a disappointment because there were just a few stalls but of course being who I am, I was still able to buy a few stuff. I bought some dried fish, squid rings, barquillos, dulong (kind of fish in the Philippines) fried in olive oil and some cheese dip. Aside from that, I also bought some baskets and I bought my Mom a crucifix which I intend to give her as my Christmas present.
After our visit at the Negros Fair, we went around the mall again. Unfortunately, there were a lot of people which is so unusual. It was not too conducive to shop so I was not able to buy anything. We decided to just go to Fully Booked and I bought some magazines: Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping and Real Living. Hmm, my visit to a book store will not be complete without buying my romance novels, I only bought 2 since the others didn't really catch my fancy.
Then we had dinner at Cibo and went home early because I have to wake up at 7 AM tomorrow for that wedding out of town (Tagaytay).
Ooopss, I have to stop now because hubby just got back from his fishing trip. Time to spend some time together because we practically didn't see each other....

Shopping Marathon
Ok, today was my gym day. I go to Gold's Gym and its located inside the mall Robinsons Galleria. After my work-out I really intended to buy some stuff, but guess what? Of course, I ended up buying more than what I planned.
I bought about 5 items in less than an hour visiting 5 different stores inside the mall. Hmm, talk about a marathon.
Let me start off with what I intended to buy. I wanted to buy black shoes, a black clutch bag and fashion tape. Why do I need these? I'll be attending a wedding on Sunday with my mother in law in Tagaytay. I'm not too happy with my black stilettos at home so I wanted a new one and for some reason or another I wanted a clutch bag to go with my dress and shoes :) This is the dress that I'm going to wear on Sunday and here's my new bag and shoes to go with it. I bought the shoes from Charles and Keith while the bag is from Dorothy Perkins.
Fashion tape, this is definitely a must have. I'm not sure if its noticeable but my dress has a rounded plunging neckline. To avoid unnecessary baring of private stuff, fashion tape is the answer!!! So, I dropped by Beauty Bar to buy the fashion tape :)
So, I was done with what I think was necessary or my must haves. But in trying to look for that "perfect clutch bag", I stumbled upon this bag from Wallis. I am really fond of big bags and I actually have a hard time using small bags because I have so much stuff that I need to bring every time I go out. I fell in love with the bag so I decided to buy is as well.
On to my last stop, I think this also a must have so more or less I only bought 1 item that was not on my list.
Remember my new maid or cook, well she requested for cook books in Filipino since all of my recipe books at home are in English. Since she was having a hard time understanding some of the terms, she requested me to buy some for her. I bought several to make sure that she'll be able to cook a variety of meals without having to repeat any meal in the next month thus avoiding a sure complaint from hubby. Ha, I think I found a gem in her....
